Senior Manager / Manager

NEFA Power Trading is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Senior Manager to oversee and enhance power trading activities in the energy market. The role demands strong expertise in power market operations, business development, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s trading portfolio while ensuring operational excellence and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Educational:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Economics, or related field.
    • MBA or Master’s in Energy Management (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in power trading, energy markets, or the power sector.
    • Proven experience with IEX/PXIL trading platforms.
    • Experience in business development and managing trading operations.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of the Indian power market and regulatory frameworks.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and market forecasting tools.
    • Knowledge of risk management in energy trading.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.
    • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of renewable energy markets.
    • Familiarity with CERC/SERC regulations.
    • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
